A teenager who played for disgraced junior hockey coach Anthony DeSilva on the Massachusetts Maple Leafs says the coach - who was arrested Wednesday - had made advances towards him, The Enterprise reported.
"The guy's a creep," said Alex Rivers, a North Carolina player who traveled here to play youth hockey. Rivers, 20, was 18 when he played for the Maple Leafs.
DeSilva, 41, a coach and general manager of the Maple Leafs was arrested on Wednesday on charges that he tried to seduce two 16-year-old Florida boys online. DeSilva's teams often played at Raynham Ice Rink.
