For months and months my force in the UK have been deciding whether or not to issue the new TASER (hand held electric shock type thing) as violent crime is on the up !
They have decided to issue it but only to the Traffic cars, we have two which cover the whole division (around 140 sq miles) so when you call them up in a tricky situation it will take a while for them to turn up !
On the plus side though they will be stocking our canteen with a free drink called REDBULL ( caffeine energy drink) so we will be able to run our asses away if in trouble !!
They got that one right.
