Looking for something to get my father for x-mas... been real busy this year and haven't kept up with whats new as the latest tools and gadgets that every handyman must have... any ideas?

I got my dad a digital weather station last year for Christmas. It has the in/outdoor temp, humidity, and a barometer. There is a remote station that you mount outside you house for the outdoor readings. They can range from 20-100$ depending on what you want it to do.
My dad loved it..until the cats knocked the base unit on the ground too many times. :evil:
