STURBRIDGE - During a routine traffic stop, a Worcester man allegedly threw a 40-gram bag of heroin out the passenger side window, hoping that the state trooper would not see it. No such luck.

Miguel A. Espinal-Demota, 20, of 17 Endicott St., Worcester, and Jose M. Carrasco, 19, of Yonkers, N.Y., are both charged with trafficking of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

I know Worcester is a dump but is it "routine" for people to throw out 40grams of smack on a stop as the writer makes it sound with their "routine traffic stop" bullshit?
I'm ok with media-types using the term "routine." For clarity the only thing that distinguishes the "routineness" or not, is if some secret squirrel unit asks you to stop the car or a concerned citizen calls 911 about the car. As always, traffickers usually think that somebody dimed them out anyway...because there couldn't possibly be any way that a lowly uniformed patrol officer could make such a good felony arrest with a "routine" traffic stop
