A woman was killed and two others were injured last night when their car rolled over and landed in the front yard of a Brockton home, forcing first responders to scramble to pry two from the wreckage, a city fire official said.
The victim, 28, was pronounced dead at Brockton Hospital after police and firefighters responded at 8:55 p.m., to the single-car crash on Plain Street, said Deputy Fire Chief Michael Williams.
Another passenger, a 30-year-old man, was flown by MedFlight helicopter to Boston Medical Center with what Williams described as non-life threatening injuries while the driver was taken to Brockton Hospital and was also expected to survive.
