SHELTON, Conn. (AP) - Shelton police say they're still trying to unravel the mystery behind a woman who was found wandering city streets.
An officer patrolling the area around Nells Rock Road last week spotted the woman.
The woman said little except she was suffering from a stomach ailment. She was taken to Griffin Hospital in Derby for treatment and remains in the hospital.
Police says she refuses to talk and has not told them who she is. She's described as a white woman who police believe is between 25 and 40 years old.
She had with her a Mother's Day card that was signed, "Love, Keegan," and pictures of 2 children around the ages of 4 or 5.
Police say she may be suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
