Does anybody know the deal with MVs coming with less than 35% windows straight from the dealer? I have been getting that excuse alot. 90/9D does not give any exceptions except for gov't or medical reasons. I have not gone to court for it yet.

if the tint comes stock in the vehicle it is alright, not citable. if they tint tinted windows past 35% gig

I believe this covers it: (from 90-9D)

This section shall not apply to:

1) motor vehicles manufactured with windshields and window glass areas equipped in accordance with specifications of 49 Code of Federal Regulations 571.205 as authorized by 15 USC 1407.
