http://www.qmuniforms.com/ I got most of my stuff here. Good quality at a good price.

http://www.mass.gov/mptc/forms/recruitsel.pdf this is the list of equipment if your going to the academy

Not sure if you looking for a list of equpiment cops carry in general, or for a particular PD.

The basic rule of thumb is, " If you need it, you don't have it. If you have it, you Don't use it."

That would be the Mary Kay Vice Squad* and the P-town "Special Police"*
But i heard that if you get pulled over by the PSP there's a 100% chance of being Frisked

*Diclaimer:These departments do not really existed

Right on the front page list two sources for SE Mass.. Neither of them has a website but here is their contact information. I have purchased items from both locations and have never had a problem. If they don't have it that will get it.

E&S Police Supply (NOW CLOSED)
21 Riverbank Road
Attleboro, MA 02703

P 508.431.1403
F 508.431.1404
------------------------
Somerset Uniform
881 Wilbur Ave.
Somerset, MA 02725

P 508.675.5255
F 508.678.7170

There is also Andrea's but after seeing that they are more interested in selling seconds that what the customer wants I no longer shop there.

I am sure that there is a ton of on line police supply outlets were you can purchase "equipment" from. Was there something in particular you were looking for?

You forgot to mention that if you are not wearing a Dedham or a Boston patch you are treated like a second class citizen. I don't know maybe they have been inundated with wannabees in the past and are just over cautious. I have been there a few times and have always felt rushed.

I would have to agree with you about being rushed in AAA. But don't forget about the MBTA police. It's Boston Dedham and MBTA down there.

I was about to post that. I was always treated well there. I'm sure part of that is due to the fact that the T PD sends them a lot of business. It was one of the few places I didn't feel like a second class citizen.

Steer Clear of Neptune In Haverhill the prices are unbelievable and the owner the self proclaimed "Super Jew" is a scumbag and a half. My friend and I went there when he started the Auxiliary with me and we went there and He wanted $50 for a duty hat I was like WTF and when the guy went out back to get the hat we left. The Nylon gear was also crazy expensive too. he wanted like $35 For an uncle mikes duty belt and $19 for the trouser belt for under it. NEVER AGAIN!

I also felt rushed at AAA and felt like they were sizing me up.
MHQ on spring st. in West Roxbury are very nice and helpful and the prices are very good.
don't go to Doughboy in Dorchester to expensive (ripoff).
Just my own experience thou.
I used to go to Doughboys all the time and they were good still pricy but things have changed there.

example-pants Doughboy= 6 pocket pants 89.99 + 15.00 to 20.00 tailoring

MHQ + 8 pocket pants 50.00 and tailoring about the same 15 to 20

tailoring obviously is different for everyone. This is just going on my memory but you get the idea.

There is a new place in Springfield, MA called Guardian Uniform. Easy to reach from the pike or route 91. They are really growing fast and have alot of cool gear that most other shops do not. Tactical gear, AR rails, weapon lights, etc... they have a website:

www.guardianuniform.com

Check them out, they are owned by cops too!
