Hey Echo,

It can't always be exciting in "sherwood Forest" or Courtney Hall. It could just be a slow time for the boy's. I can guarantee you not too long ago that WSCPD had a lot more business they could deal with.. aah to the good old days.... by the way are you an SSO?

Trust me, I've heard stories about the "Crazy Westfield State" back when it was listed in Playboy as being one of the 25 top party schools in the country. Ever since the school established 5-5-50 (5 weekends of campus, 5 hours community service, and a $50 for alchohol classes) for being caught with alcohol, the school hasn't been the same. I don't work for student security, driving the shuttle doesn't appeal to me that much, however, my roomate is a SSO.

Echo,
Most of the time the department is quiet, but then again when they do have stuff going on, you never hear about it other than word of mouth. The college paper is run by a bunch of nerds that dont want to publish the police log, so you can only see if if you come into the station. Just under 100 arrests/summonses last year on top of hundreds of incidents...my impression of the department is that if you want to go out and look for stuff, you will find stuff. Otherwise, sit back and the stuff will find you.

I'm an SSO here now, for the next 3 days anyway (3 years and no forced resignation! wooo hooo :D )

Mikey,

Your 100% coorect on the newspaper. Back when I was there some moron left $2000 or $3000 worth of band equipment in his car down in South Lot and it got stolen. Did I mention he also happened to be the roomate and bandmate of the editorof the paper at the time so needless to say.... Campus Voice exposes police inability to do job and protect students !!!! WTF excuse me I am not the Dumb A$$$ who left $3000 worth of epuipment down there Just aks Office TM or CC aobut it I'm sure nothing much has changed since I was both a SSO and CPO out there.

Echo,

again like Mikey said you can always find something to do out there, however if you want trouble to find you usually you don't have to wait too long. Overall the staff as WSCPD are a great bunch though they have hired a lot of new faces from what I can see including a new Lt.

Ya, I dealt with WSCPD one time in my four years. Last semester I was walking out of ELY when I witness two females kicking the [email protected]#! out of another girl on the ground. I ran over and pulled the two females off of the girl, then they took off...I got the plate and what not, and the officer called to the scene asked me to fill out a witness statement... Can't remember his name but he was a good guy...
