WAREHAM -
Monday session

Michael Franklin, 19, of 18 Terry Lane East, Wareham, was arraigned on charges of assault and unarmed robbery. The charges stem from an incident in Wareham Monday. Franklin was released on $1,000 bail and Judge Rosemary Minehan continued the case to Aug. 11 for a pretrial hearing.

Tuesday session

Mikela Mckenzie, 18, of 124 Pleasant St., Middleboro, was arraigned on two counts of threatening to commit a crime and a charge of disturbing a school assembly. The charges stem from an incident in Middleboro May 23. Judge Rosemary Minehan continued the case to Aug. 18 for a pretrial hearing.

James Minta, 36, of 3024 Cranberry Highway, Wareham, was found guilty to charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. A charge of disturbing the peace was dismissed. In a separate case stemming from an incident in Wareham July 7, Minta was found guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct and a charge of disturbing the peace was dismissed. Minta was given a four-month suspended sentence in the House of Correction and the case was continued to July 21 for probation and the payment of fines.

Sufficient facts were found, but a charge of a subsequent offense of driving a vehicle with a suspended license against Brian Beers, 40, of 754 East Bridgewater, was continued without a guilty finding. The charge stems from an incident in Wareham May 13. Beers was given a nine-month suspended sentence in the House of Correction and the case was continued to July 20, 2010, for probation and the payment of fines.

Kevin Maier, 44, of 100 Tremont St., Carver, was arraigned on a charge of assault. The charge stems from an incident in Carver Tuesday. The case was continued to Aug. 18 for a pretrial hearing.

Alexandra Benitez, 21, of 27 Lois Lane, Plymouth, was arraigned on a charge of theft over $250. The charge stems from an incident in Carver May 5. The case was continued to Aug. 15 for a pretrial hearing.

Caleb Maddaus, 25, of 3 Maple St. No. 5, Buzzards Bay, was arraigned on charges of driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a vehicle. The charges stem from an incident in Middleboro on May 23. The case was continued to Aug. 13 for a pretrial hearing.
Sufficient facts were found, but a charge of violating an abuse prevention order against Angie Damiano, 28, of 21 12th St., Onset, was continued without a guilty finding. The charge stems from an incident in Wareham July 14. The case was continued to Jan. 19 for probation and the payment of fines.

Dominic Rezendes, 18, of 1021 South Park Ave., Titusville, Fla., was arraigned on charges of aggravated assault, unarmed robbery and three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon. The charges stem from an incident in Wareham Monday. The case was continued to Aug. 8 for a pretrial hearing.

Sufficient facts were found, but charges of driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a vehicle against Francis Mcdounough, 44, of 614 Columbus Ave., B1, Boston, were continued without a guilty finding. The charges stem from an incident in Wareham June 14. Mcdounough was ordered into an outpatient alcohol treatment program, his license was suspended for 45 days and the case was continued to July 21 for probation and the payment of fines.
