SUDBURY, Mass. -- The Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Sudbury is being named in honor of an Army officer who died in Afghanistan last year.
Post 8771 Commander Charles Pepper says a ceremony is planned for Wednesday to name the post after 1st Lt. Scott Milley.
Milley's father, Steven Milley, calls the renaming one of his son's "greatest honors."
Pepper tells The MetroWest Daily News that discussions to rename the post began at Milley's funeral and the members approved the change unanimously.
