Two face drug, weapons charges

MENDON -
Two men arrested early yesterday face a litany of drug and weapon charges, police said.
Jamal Sharif Jones, 33, of 78 Carney St., Uxbridge, and Spencer D'Mar Gorman, 21, of 170 Glenn Meadow Road, Building 5, Franklin, were arrested around 1:22 a.m. after police pulled over the two in Jones' 2007 Chevy Avalanche on Uxbridge Road.
Jones was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, fourth offense, two counts of possessing ammunition without a permit, possessing a Class B drug with intent to distribute, subsequent offense, distributing a Class C drug and conspiring to violate drug laws. He was also wanted on a warrant for violating a health regulation, police said.
Gorman was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, third offense, two counts of possessing ammunition without a permit, two counts of possessing a Class B substance with intent to distribute, possessing a Class C drug with intent to distribute and conspiring to violate drug laws.
