Two South Carolina Air National Guard F-16 fighter jets crashed Tuesday night in Georgia, officials said in a statement.

The South Carolina Air National Guard said in a statement that the pilots of the single-seat aircraft ejected safely after a mid-air collision during routine night-flying operations in Jefferson County, Ga. Officials said there were no injuries reported on the ground.

The two jets were assigned to the 169th Fighter Wing. The pilots weren’t immediately identified.

Kilvinsky I think, therefore I'll never be promoted.

Thank GOD they're going to be OK. THAT is the most important thing.

Well, and hundreds on the ground weren't killed.
