I just saw Tpr. Ellie Engelhardt on television at the sentencing of the man who hit her. As law enforcement, we all try to hide our emotions...but I admit it, the sight of this once vibrant woman made me cry.

Please, let's do all we can by donating to her fund, participating in the road race, and praying for her and her family.

I will not even get started about the scumbag that hit her...he is only getting two years of jail time. Outrageous.
