Chardon Post: Tpr. Davis almost struck on June 8, 2002: Tpr. Davis was on-foot conducting a traffic stop on westbound State Route 2 in Lake County, when a passing vehicle struck both Tpr. Davis's Patrol car and the car he had pulled over. Tpr. Davis was struck by flying debris, but escaped serious injury.

Damn he was lucky!! I've also noticed myself doing the passenger side approach in the 50 mph areas of town.
