Let's hear it for Time Magazine naming the American soldier the person the year! Rarely does the press hit the nail so squarely on the head. I often recall what the nameless officer who swore me into the service at MEPPS said way back in 1990: "You are entering the noblest profession".
So in this holiday season when you complain, bitch and moan about how hard you have it; give a thought to the men and women of our great military shedding their blood overseas for you. They teach us what we really have to be thankful for.........

 I know when I entered the Corps it was the proudest day of my life, I felt the same when I took the oath to become a Trooper. Good call, I hope no one ever forgets, those who fight for us and stand-up and do something when others sit down and do nothing. Semper Fi ! and to the Army doggies a salute to all those who do our dirty work De Oppresso Libre. M.
