WEYMOUTH -
Weymouth police say they broke up "a substantial illegal narcotic-sales operation" by arresting three Madison Street residents.
After several months of investigation, police executed a search warrant at 30 Madison St., Apt. 3, at about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. They reported seizing large quantities of cocaine and Percocet pills.
Members of the Weymouth Police Drug Unit and the South Shore Drug Task Force also seized more than $4,000 in cash and packaging and scales commonly used by people dealing in illicit drugs.
Police arrested Casey J. O'Neill and Thomas P. O'Neill, both 27, and Joy L. McClain, 26, all of whom live at the Madison Street address. Police said McClain is Thomas O'Neill's girlfriend.
"This was a substantial illegal narcotic-sales operation that was brought to an end," Weymouth police Sgt. Rick Fuller said.
Casey O'Neill is charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and Percocet, conspiracy to violate drug laws and committing a drug violation near a school.
Thomas O'Neill is charged with distributing Percocet, possession of cocaine and Percocet, conspiracy to violate drug laws and committing a drug violation near a school.
McClain is charged with possession with intent to distribute Percocet, possession of Klonopin, conspiracy to violate drug laws and committing a drug violation near a school.
A Quincy District Court judge set bail at $3,000 cash when the O'Neills were arraigned Thursday. Thomas O'Neill was held because of a violation of his probation in connection with a prior drug-possession charge.
McClain was released on personal recognizance. All three are due back in court Oct. 14.
