I'm sure this MUST have been covered but here goes. The other night I watched "PIRATE RADIO" and found it not only a terrific movie, but it reminded me just how much AWESOME music came out of the 1960s. It's a fun movie based on the reality of the times in England. Hard to believe that the UK worked so hard to ban Rock in an era almost defined by BRITISH ROCK! Kenneth Branagh is over the top as the British bureaucrat working hard to shut down "PR". He's just as sinister as he was in "Conspiracy" but with different motives. One to exterminate ships broadcasting rock, the other to exterminate Jews. One extreme of bad guy to the next. A terrific actor. Great movie, great soundtrack. If you haven't see it, do so. If you have, I hope you liked it nearly as much as I did. How many members were even around then?
