PRAGUE (Reuters) - A Czech man is being taken to court after he hid in a restaurant washroom until the employees had left and then hooked up beer kegs directly to his mouth.

Cleaning staff found him drunk and lying on the floor of the bar at the restaurant in the city of Brno, about 200km (120 miles) east of Prague, the CTK news agency reported on Thursday.

"He had broken the door of the cooling mechanism ... and detached the hoses leading from the keg, squashed them in his mouth and literally filled himself up with beer," CTK quoted a police official as saying.

The man will be charged with damaging property because he caused 8,000 crown ($340) damage to the beer cooling box.

depends on where you go. I, for example, travel all over the middle east, africa, and some of former USSR (afganistan, uzbekistan) pretty much the whole 5th fleet AOR. some countries are dry, some have strange rules and some u can't drink in because of OP commitment. for example Qatar u have a 3 beer limit. Iraq/Afganistan dry. Egypt & oman u can drink in hotels but its expensive. UAE mainly Dubai its not bad- Bahrain isn't bad. But where ever u are the beer has been shipped and sits in the hot ass desert sun for weeks so its like camel piss.

we have a huge operational commitment so we are never ever in one place long- so it depends.

Wow, I didn't realize that. I knew some countries were dry but I wasn't sure if it was different if you were in a US base or if truly follow that countries rules.

Traveling around that much must be good though, I mean if you have to be there might as well travel.

Is Dubai really as nice as they say it is?

yeah dubai is nice, well as nice as it can b for the boil on the inner ass cheek of the world known as the middle east. I have also been on aussie bases, brit bases US bases it varies base to base, country to country.
Its strange cuz tomorrow we could b in afganistan or fallujah for 6 months, come back here, then go stay in the seychelles for 2 weeks for an FP mission. Come back go to saudi to train their military, come back, then go out to sea on a ship (US, Btit, Aussie) to go recover bodies. or underwater mines. comeback train here for a few weeks. then out the door again. i have slept under a humvee in afganistan and I have slept in a 5 star hotel in egypt, i have slept on a cot in bagdad I have slept on a rack on a ship. i have dove to 225 feet in the gulf, red sea and the tigris river. I have jumped from 15,000 feet, and blown up shit in 8 different countries and 2 different seas. I don't think i could be doing anything better out here!

I would trade it all for just 10 seconds with my daughters!

oh yeah and i have been doing it all with a herniated disc! HAH! gotta luv it!

yeah, a few people say thank you. Mostly all the great folks on this site. Its wierd cuz i don't feel like i am doing enough & I am greatful to all of the guys & gals in LE who protect my family while I am away. I'd rather b doing that than this!
