Two cars collide, hit pole, drivers sent to Morton Hospital
There was a two car accident where a pole was struck by Webster Bank at 291 Winthrop Street. Four people were transported to Morton Hospital at 9:42 a.m. Saturday.

Patrolman Matt McCaffrey arrested a trio on possession of a Class D substance on Kilmer Ave. at 11:18 p.m. on Thursday. Henry Darius, 27, of 16 Morris St., Boston; Kendall Kaski, 50, of 1225 Shootflying Hill Road, Centerville and James Harvey, 27, of 1999 Columbus Ave., Roxbury, all were charged with possession of a Class D substance. Kaski was also charged motor vehicle violations.

Patrolman A Thurston assisted the fire department at 270 Tremont Street for a bon fire at 10:21 p.m. on Thursday.

Patrolman Stephen Joiner arrested Christopher Paiva, 43, of 341 Bay Street charged with assault and battery at 2:57 a.m.

Patrolman Peter Corr summoned Stephen Peters, 25, of 52 Anderson Street with both larcenies over $250 by false pretense at 14 Range Ave. at 8:33 a.m.

A vehicle was stolen from 23 Summer Street at 8:59 a.m.

A wallet was lost at Shaw's at 9:53 a.m.

Patrolman Girard Roy summoned John Morgan, 23, of 311 Kingman Street charged with receiving stolen property at 10 Cape Road at 9:58 a.m.

A $2,000 tax refund was lost the matter was referred to the FBI at 10:05 a.m.

A copier, mouse and docking station valued at $750 was taken from a trailer on County Street reported at 10:19 a.m.

Patrolman Peter Corr arrested Paul Brady, 33, of 100 Longwood Ave. charged with larceny over and larceny under $250 at United Method Memorial Church at 176 Somerset Ave at 11:05 a.m.

A vehicle was recovered at 5:43 p.m.

A catalytic converter was taken from a vehicle at the Galleria Mall at 6:19 p.m.

Patrolman Robert Kramer arrested three people on drug charges at Kohl's. The trio was arrested for two counts of possession of a Class B substance and conspiracy to violate the drug laws. Arrested and charged were Sean Harraghy, 20, of 14 Evergreen Drive; William Scott, 20, of 13 Worcester Street and Casey Paquette, 28, of 1000 Governors Drive, Winthrop.

Patrolman Robert McDonald arrested George Houston, 24, of 17 Clinton Street at 151 Weir Street at 8:35 p.m. .

A truck struck a pole at 44 Pratt Street at 1:29 a.m.

Patrolman Jack Westcoat arrested a juvenile charged as disorderly and with disturbing the peace on Jerome Street at 1:38 a.m.

The Space Metal buildings on Cape Highway were broken into reported at 9:27 a.m.

A vehicle was vandalized at 211 Washington Street at 9:36 a.m.

Patrolman Terrence Downing arrested Craig Mello, 17, of 73 Bowen Street, Fall River charged with shoplifting at Macy's at 1:51 p.m.

A pocketbook with a $100 check and $30 cash plus a phone with charger was taken from a vehicle at 59 Linden Street at 11:10 p.m.

Norelco razors were stolen from Rite Aid at 175 Dean Street at 12:08 p.m.
Change was taken after the gumball machine at Girlies on Oak Street was broken into reported at 2:19 p.m.

Patrolman Shawn Smith at 2:29 p.m. investigated malicious destruction at 139 Dewert Ave after windows were broken.

Patrolman Brian Dunham arrested a disorderly juvenile disturbing the peace at Trucchi's at 53 Tremont Street at 4:25 p.m.
