BOSTON (AP) - A man accused of shooting three men, one fatally, inside a Chelsea bar has been captured in Mexico.
Suffolk District Attorney Daniel Conley says 20-year-old Jesse Camacho was arrested Thursday as he stepped off a city bus in Mexico City.
Camacho allegedly opened fire during a Jan. 24 altercation inside King Arthur's Lounge. Twenty-8-year-old Jeff Santiago was killed, and two other men were wounded.
Camacho was indicted by a Suffolk County grand jury in April on charges of first-degree murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and armed assault with intent to murder.
Conley said Friday that federal authorities will lead the effort to have Camacho returned to U.S. soil.
