Attack Follows Similar Incident Saturday

BOSTON -- A 20-year-old Charlestown man who allegedly attacked a group of teenagers with a knife in the north end was arrested early Sunday morning, according to the Boston Police Department.

Four victims were hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries Sunday after they suffered apparent stab wounds near Commercial Street and Hull Street around 1 a.m.

Soon after, officers located a person with blood-stained clothing matching the description of one of the alleged assailants.
Police arrested Jeffrey Scott and charged him with assault with intent to murder and assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon.

The quadruple stabbing is the second in Boston in as many days. On Saturday, two men suffered life-threatening injures and two more were hospitalized after they were allegedly attacked with a knife.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Area A-1 detectives at (617) 343-4248 or the Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
