Can you apply at any time to take the test?

No. When another test is given, they will put out an announcement and instruct you on where to obtain an application (I think it's Ashburton Place?). You may even be able to apply online at that time.

I put myself on a mailing list and got a small card in the mail a year later when they scheduled the test, telling me to go online or to any MSP barracks to get an application for testing.

The link for submission is no longer on the MSP web site, but Im sure it will return as a date grows closer.....

so what happens when all the people are selected for the 77th?
do they need to take it again? They go in order from highest score to lowest until the class is full correct?

ahhhhhh the 77th. Read all about it. All 17+ pages and 3 million posts. Save your money on these tests, buy War Bonds. Who needs the lobotomy scar anyways??
