BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) - A Framingham man was arrested after a Mass. State Police trooper found him stopped and unconscious in the high speed lane on Route 93 in Boston Sunday morning.
Eric Funes, 29, is facing his second OUI offense, as well as several other charges, for the incident which occurred on the northbound side of Route 93, south of Exit 13 at about 4:53 a.m.
The trooper reportedly stopped behind Funes'
vehicle
, approached him, and attempted to rouse Funes from behind the wheel. When Funes woke up, state police said he started to travel down Route 93 northbound away from the trooper.
The trooper returned to his cruiser and attempted to stop Funes; however, Funes reportedly refused to stop and led the trooper on a low speed pursuit down the highway.
