C'mon you haters-who better to oversee safety than a gal who knows how to break the rules!
Geitner cheated on his taxes and oversses the IRS, so what's the problem? She can implement any changes she wants, and when the people complain, she can always use the "takes one to know one" defense!

She really didn't lose her job, she was just reassigned and had the title of State Highway Director taken away.

To do it right, she should be off the fuckin payroll and looking for a job in the private sector.

I disagree. The state didn't do due diligence in hiring her. She shouldn't be in the unemployment line because of that. IMO, they need to own the mistake and own her.

That's why the jerk off that actually hired her should be looking for a new job too.

Gov. Patrick passes off blame ... again!

Gov. Deval Patrick has finally found the culprit behind the outrageous patronage hiring of accident-prone highway safety chief Sheila Burgess, and it's a shocker.
Is it the governor? Of course not. Is it someone in the governor's office, who controls patronage hiring? No way. Is it the politically connected public safety secretary, Mary Beth Heffernan, whose name was listed on Burgess' job application?
