Silver Star for World War II vet

ATTLEBORO - A member of "the Greatest Generation," Army Staff Sgt. Russell E. Spooner of Rehoboth, was honored at the Attleboro VFW Post 115 on Saturday, where he was presented with a Silver Star, which honors servicemen for combat under fire during World War II.
