MARINE CITY (WWJ) - Authorities say a 24-year-old Canadian man was busted trying to smuggle illegal drugs into the United States by crossing the St. Clair River in a scuba suit.
Jesse James Thomas Zunti, a Windsor resident, was apprehended by U.S. Border Patrol agents around 1 a.m. Monday as he emerged from the river near Marine City.

Border Patrol agents were alerted to the situation by a concerned citizen who saw someone swimming across the St. Clair River and called police.
Uhmmm, If he had a scuba tank and was underwater how did they see him swimming across the river? Isn't the whole point of being underwater that you are not swimming on top? Canadiens strike again! Like I always say, Damn Canadiens!!!
He had what might have been a smart idea but he fucked it up by not planning or executing it right. As a scuba diver I can tell you what most likely happened, which basically boils down to the guy being a dumbass.
