Ruling Opens Door for More Nudity on TV Federal court vacates $1M worth of fines the FCC levied against ABC after alleging that the network violated broadcast indecency standards, saying the indecency test is 'unconstitutionally vague'
As long as it's after the time most really young kids go to bed (after 9pm), then who cares? By the time I was 12, my brother and I had amassed a collection of porn that rivaled the old First Amendment Bookstore in the Combat Zone, and I suspect kids these days are even more exposed, via the Internet. Seeing someone's ass on TV is hardly going to traumatize them.
Late at night, no problem. There's NO NEED to have nudity on broadcast TV during Prime Time. Hell, I'm no prude (the cry often heard from Prudes!) but even though I know my 14 year old daughter has probably seen a naked man SOMEWHERE (TV, Internet, Rap video?) that doesn't mean I want is readilly available EVERYWHERE! Can't we have a little clothing on TV. Until late at night or on Cable.
