For all the shooters here, I just got to shoot the Ruger SR22 I recently purchased. Put about 300 rounds through it. It shoots flawlessly. It has the look and feel of a combat pistol without the kick and its a .22 so its pretty cheap to shoot. Its a DA/SA and also has a decocker integrated with the safety. If you are in the market for a decent inexpensive target/plinker, I very highly recommend this gun. The design is totally different than the MK series of Ruger .22 pistols. For $300.00 you can't beat it. Great for teaching newbies.

I bought a Ruger 10/22 first as a toy and second to give the wallet a rest buying .223 and .40SW and it has quickly become my favorite gun the cabinet and see's more daylight than my others aside from my duty guns.
