Dartmouth -
A Faunce Corner Road Dunkin' Donuts clerk was robbed early Sunday morning after attempting to move her car, with two men making off with an undetermined amount of cash.
The victim told police that around 5:20 a.m. she exited the store in an attempt to move her car. She had opened the store an hour prior to the event.
Upon leaving the vehicle, she was approached by two unarmed men that she said were dressed in dark clothing. The suspects made off with a bag of money, but the victim told police that the money they stole was not from the store and was her own personal funds.
Once the money had been stolen, she said the suspects ran south on Faunce Corner Road, but police believe the two ran into a waiting vehicle.
Dartmouth police bloodhound Edger and officer Craig Pimental tried to track the suspects but were unsuccessful.
Dartmouth police officer Manuel DeMelo and Dartmouth detectives are conducting the investigation.
