WASHINGTON (AP) - People familiar with the investigation tell The Associated Press that the gunman held in the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona and others has been identified as Jared Laughner.
Little information is known immediately about Laughner _ such as his background or a possible motive in the attack.
U.S. officials who provided his name to the AP spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to release it publicly.

I've read a whole bunch too... but those type of books are a loose cannon in the hands of someone with the degree of mental illness and violent tendencies that this kid clearly has.

He also murdered a 10-year old girl during his rampage. I'm sure this story will have lots of disturbing information to it.

 

I just watched all his videos. What a weirdo. He obviously has done a lot of thinking in his head. Though, his head is not on planet earth. Based on his videos, he seems to be apolitical and not religious. That, I am sure, won't stop the media from placing the right wing tag on him.
Congresswoman appears to be out of surgery. I pray for a full recovery.

I think that organizers of the Tea Party movement should be very concerned about this incident. If it comes out that Jared Lee Loughner is connected to the TP in ANY way the media and liberals will run with it.

 

By watching this kids videos and favorites, he was probably an anti-government conspiracy theorist. He had a flag burning video Favorited, and fancied himself a 'terrorist' according to his weird verbal algorithms.

 

Nah....no reason to cc 24/7.
