I just wanted to say that I hope everyone has a safe night tonight, especially those of us that are working. For University and Campus PO's, we all know how idiotic our students can act on a normal night. Throw in the Sox-Yankees Game 7 after being down 3-0 and all hell can potentially break loose. I know that it got a little hairy where I work last night after the Sox won and I am sure it did elsewhere. Keep your cool and don't let the little punks think they can do what they want. That being said:

Last two nights were no problem, more police than students on Hemenway. And when the order came to clear the streets, students went right back in the room. Ghost town withing 5 minutes. It was nice cause I only got held till about 1 am :roll:

for game 7 we will have, from what the memos and e-mails read anyway, a total of 9 guys from our PD, the city is holdoing over all of thier 3-11 guys plus guys on OT, and MSP said they are gonna have troppers in the area; 1 K9 hopefully....I hope we all stay safe tonight

I can't say how proud i am to be a RED SOX fan . The performance from Shilling was unbelievable. This team has so much heart.

I got called earlier today to work there. Don't think it's too bad to get paid to watch the game, paid to watch everything from the inside, and then to hang out for the team to come back.

And about not celebrating... it was hard to control after Ortiz's homer making the sweep of the Angels. Before he was on second we were on the field and it was just amazing. I wanted to run the bases \/
