QUINCY - A Quincy man was arrested Thursday morning after police say he pretended to be a police officer and later threatened two men with a box cutter to keep them quiet.
Police say Michael Muray, 33, walked up to two men sitting in a car at the Quincy Center MBTA station on March 18, told them he was a police officer and demand that they show their identification. He then pretended to request “back up” on his cell phone and ordering one of the men to open the center console of their car so he could see what was inside, police said.
