Anyone have the QED Acuity dispatch software??? We are going to be upgrading to it soon from a QED unix-based CAD system. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with it . . . good or bad. Thanks.

I have heard the name in the past. I have never seen it in operations but I do know that Unix based CAD's have less down time and less errors then a MS based CAD. If you want to know as much as possible about Unix based CAD's contact Bill Mullen at Springfield PD.

Good for putting stuff in. Bad for getting stuff out. The words "User Friendly" mean nothing to QED.

The old Unix system is easier to search; and that's not saying much.

If it's anything like QED's windows based reporting system DON'T UPGRADE! Ha that's a good one QED and UPGRADE in the same sentence, who would have thunk it....
