Basically there are a number of upper conversions for AR's in 9mm. They include that same type of magazine "blocK' conversion.
Some use sten magazines, some use grease gun mags, and some use Uzi...it's whichever you want.
We built a couple that used glock 31 round magazines because that was the spec.
You can also get a suppressed upper in 9mm...very cool stuff.
They also have 40 S&W and .45 ACP...
The real benefit to these "systems" is that the fire control group stays the same, and the training sort of works as cross training for all the uppers.

Is that same type of 9mm conversion available in a carbine lenght barrell? I don't have an AR and I already have a 9mm carbine, but I like to know whats out there and available.
