GARDNER -- North Worcester County Regional Drug Task Force investigators and Gardner police officers arrested two Fitchburg women Thursday night after allegedly seizing more than $1,000 in crack cocaine from their car, according to Gardner Police Lt. John Bernard.
Elizabeth Figueroa, 36, of 6 Beech St., Fitchburg, and Kim Castro, 44, of 155 Milk St., Fitchburg, are both charged with possession of Class B drug, possession of Class B with intent to distribute, and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
Officers stopped the Cadillac Castro was driving on Pearson Boulevard at 6 p.m., according to Bernard.
Police found crack cocaine during a subsequent search of the car, according to Bernard. Both women are due in Gardner District Court today for arraignments.
