A Framingham woman bloodied her boyfriend, ripped his shirt and hit him with an aluminum baseball bat during an argument Sunday, police said.
Danielle M. Chaloux, 20, was arrested after the 10:45 p.m. fight at 147 Walnut St., police spokesman Lt. Paul Shastany said.
Police found Chaloux in the driveway while her boyfriend, whom police did not name, was stood bloodied nearby.
"The victim had scratches on his neck, blood on his collar and a ripped shirt," Shastany said.
The victim said he and Chaloux had been drinking when they began arguing.
Chaloux scratched him, Shastany said. The victim said he at first tried to restrain Chaloux, but then tried to walk away to defuse the fight.
Chaloux grabbed the bat and struck her boyfriend on the arm, Shastany said. Her boyfriend was not seriously hurt, he said.
Chaloux of 147 Walnut St. was charged with domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and domestic assault and battery.
She was released without bail after her Framingham District Court arraignment yesterday.
