The North Hampton Police Department seeks qualified candidates to fill the position of full time police officer. Interested candidates should possess one of the following minimum qualifications; an associate's degree from an accredited college or university, two years of honorable service in any branch of the US armed forces or is a New Hampshire certified police officer. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to successfully complete a fitness test, an oral interview, a psychological examination, a medical examination including a drug screen and submit themselves to a thorough background investigation. Any successful candidate who is not certified as a police officer will be required to attend and successfully complete the full time NH Police Academy. The Town of North Hampton offers a competitive starting salary and benefit package. Interested candidates will forward their resume to Lt.
