Man Charged With Breaking And Entering, Larceny
A Rhode Island man tried collecting on a debt by grabbing a Seekonk man's goat on Sunday, according to a local paper.
Anthony L. Pereira allegedly rode away on his bicycle while holding the goat, which belonged to Elm Street residents Alberto and Tonia DaSilva, according to the Sun Chronicle.
Pereira told police he took the animal from the DaSilvas' barn because they "owed him money," the paper reported.
Pereira was charged with breaking and entering for a misdemeanor and larceny over $250.
