RANDOLPH -
An East Bridgewater woman who police say was driving drunk when her car collided with a truck earlier today, was badly injured when her car rolled over and she was thrown onto the highway.
Lisa McCormack, 38, was in serious condition this afternoon at Boston Medical Center.
The accident happened shortly after midnight this morning on Route 24 north near the intersection of Route 139 in Randolph, State Police Sgt. Timothy Finn said.
McCormack was driving a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am. It hit a truck and rolled over five times, Finn said.
McCormack was ejected from the car and suffered serious head injuries, he said. The driver of the truck was not injured.
Finn said McCormack has been charged with drunken driving, operating to endanger, speeding and a marked lanes violation.
