Police: Drunken Mom Drove 103 Miles With Child In Car

ST. ALBANS, Vt. -- Police in Vermont said a woman traveled from Hanover, N.H., to St. Albans, a distance of about 103 miles, while under the influence of alcohol with her 10-year-old daughter in her vehicle.
Police said Audra Lamothe-Wood, 31, of St. Albans, was stopped around 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 3 after they received multiple calls from motorists reporting a vehicle driving erratically on Interstate 89.
After assessing Lamothe-Wood's condition, police described her impairment as "extreme" with a blood-alcohol level of .126 percent.
She was charged with driving under the influence and reckless endangerment.
