Suspect Accused Of Robbing Dunkin Donuts
WATERVILLE, Maine -- A woman from the town of Clinton is in jail, accused by police of robbing the Dunkin' Donuts on Kennedy Memorial Drive in Waterville
Police said the responded to the store just before midnight on Saturday.
Employees told police a woman at the drive-through handed over a note demanding cash.
A police officer was nearby and arrived within minutes. He quickly arrested 33-year-old Cheryl Stone and recovered almost $1,700.
Police said Stone recently lost her job at the same Dunkin Donuts.
She is charged with robbery and is being held at the Kennebec County Jail.
