About Us The Liam Macomber Memorial Fund was established in memory of eight month old Liam Matthew, who died unexpectedly in September 2005. The goal of establishing this fund was two-fold: to assist young adults of the South Shore further their education through scholarship endowments and most importantly, to help families who have experienced a similar loss.
In our first year alone, the Fund was able to assist several local families in a variety of ways. In May 2008, for the second time four area students from Plymouth North and South High Schools were awarded scholarships on behalf of the LMMF to help offset the cost of college expenses. In addition, we have been fortunate enough to offer assistance, financial and otherwise, to three local families who tragically have suffered the loss of a child.
The success of the Fund and its’ endeavors can be measured in large part to the generosity of our sponsors and to the public who participate in the road race. So please, come join us for a fun filled day on Plymouth’s Historic Waterfront. The race starts and finishes at East Bay Grille with a scenic USATF certified 5K course through downtown Plymouth, which is followed by an awards ceremony, live entertainment and barbeque.

A great event every year...and the after party is even better. At a minimum, the $20 is well worth the free eats after the race.

This will be my third time running and the fourth year of the event. The $$ goes to a great cause and the event to a great memory.

Online Registration is over, but you can complete the registration form before the race and bring it with you, which will most likely save you some time on Race Day:

Just got back from running with a time only a mother would be proud of.

It looked like it was just as much of a sucess if not more than years past.
