A police officer was transported to a hospital after breaking up a robbery and making an arrest.
The incident happened near 5th and Christian streets in South Philadelphia Monday morning.
The suspect asked to use a bathroom in a home after the robbery a couple of blocks away, police said.
Officers responded and arrested the man on location, police said.
The officer suffered a fracture left leg.
