Thats a good article. It touches on some of the most important aspects of the job in a very concise way. Its a good reminder for all officers not to become complacent and careless in the aspects of the job.

That's an awesome article. I too have been on the job for 24 years. I could say "yeah" or I remember when that happened to me throughout your article. I've saved it for future use. You know, when that young guy comes up and says, hey " Sarge can you give me some advice?" Thanks.

Policeone.com is a pretty cool site, they have great articles like this written by cops for cops. One cool thing is they verify the status of police officers by phone call when you set up an account, so you know who you're talking to.
