POST could probably provide you with a number of officers per agency. Then tally up the agencies in each county, and you have that number. Very labor intensive, but probably most accurate.

An officer at my department is in the process of writing a grant and having difficulty finding the following stat info. Does anyone know where we could find a breakdown of officers per county here in Massachusetts. I know it is a very specific ask but figured someone might have some insight..
