Does anyone know what the process for NCSO is like, and what youll need to do to prepare and how how long it takes before you get to the academy. Any information on the process and the field is appreciated.

Typically, after you get arrested, you will be arraigned in the district court having jurisdiction over where the offense took place. If your arrest is after court hours, a clerk magistrate or bail commissioner may set bail for your release prior to arraignment.
After arraignment, you may be sent to an NCSO facility. You will be processed into the jail, have your property secured, receive a medical screening and be issued clothing for the jail. You will be thoroughly searched and complete a booking process as part of this intake.
In terms of preparation, I’d recommend ensuring that you do not have anything illegal on your person as you will be searched. Have some cash to deposit into your canteen account, and let your family and attorney know where you will be.
    Good luck!
