nh state corrections or county corrections

    would anybody recommend nh county corrections or nh state corrections for experience? i know that nh county corrections pays low.

    Hi J5254 - State corrections in NH is no bargain either. I shoot with state and county guys, and my neighbor is a sgt. in county corrections. How little they earn (at least to start) should be a crime..

    If your close enough to the MA state line, you might want to consider MA DOC. At least you will earn a more legitimate living.

    There is no reasonable argument IMHO to pay correctional officers $12-13 an hour. That's not a living wage. I don't know how they manage on it.

    12 an hr....thats an in insult for what they do...

    Wow,that is ridiculous. BCSO back in 1999 was starting under 14 and I thought that was low.
