NASHUA, N.H. (AP) -- Bystanders helped police catch a burglary suspect, confronting him inside a store, chasing him down and enduring a beating until police arrived.
Forty-two-year-old Joseph Bisson of Manchester is charged with burglary and six counts of assault.
Police say two bystanders reported seeing Bisson smash a glass door and go into a market just after 1:30 Tuesday morning. Investigators say the bystanders confronted Bisson in the store, chased him and tried to hold in behind a house while calling the police. Police say Bisson punched the Good Samaritans and bit one.
