Also, I'm assuming yours just said to go to HQ and see HR?
Good Luck !
Did you get something in the mail or an email from the civil service?
I just got one as well.
Mine was just an email
I told you you would.
Any idea how many invites were sent?
Anyone have any idea how many cards were sent out? I didn't receive a card but am trying to gauge if I would make the cut for a next class if there is one. I'm about 500 on the current list.
Heard they sent out 300.
Make. It. Happen.
Looks like around 300. Got down to score 96
Anyone have any idea when the academy is set to start ?
Some say fall, some say December/January.
I scored 95, and am around 285 on the list.... I did not get a card. So I don't think 300 cards were sent out..
I was wondering if anyone knows what happens at orientaion and then what are the steps after that?
I understand that invitation cards are to be sent out under the guise of 1+2 in order to be maintain standard BPD/Civil Service protocol. If you did not receive an invitation at 285 then BPD likely have a class under 75 cadets. I hope I am wrong as I need the list to make at least 450. Maybe they will have two or three classes using this test.
This up coming class has 65 openings.
Looks like I'll be PMing you in the future...
Looks like, next round of cards, if they ever come, will be for 95 and below. I scored 95... and there are 43 people tied with me.
If BPD sent around 250 cards out for this round.. and only take 65 recruits.... I may get a card next round or not... That is because many get that get bypassed do not get removed from the list.. so they will get the card again.... After this class things start to get even more difficult because the cadets will be factored in.... they will have their number of slots back.. meaning fewer civilians will get in.....
I assume some some of the people in the range of 95-90 will NOT have Boston residency despite claiming such status when they applied. Hopefully they can filter down at or near the 90 range so I have a shot too. I think I will need a 3rd academy class which is highly unlikely based on what I am reading on this forum. I will remain optimistic... I guess
Ironically, I received an email from Boston this afternoon.. Telling me to report to BPD HQ to sign the cert by june 16. They are looking for 65 officers... They had orientation last saturday and people have not even returned packets yet... Anyone know why they sent more cards out? Are they putting two classes on?
what range are you on the list? 98,97,96...?
Separate names with a comma.
